Natasha Pester is the Principal and Tutor at the Exeter Branch of the UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences.

Hypnotherapy is a rewarding and interesting career and you are no doubt visiting this page because you are considering making that leap!  Maybe you are a therapist seeking to add hypnotherapy to your toolkit.  Maybe you want a complete change of career.  Maybe you want to embed therapy principles into your job role.  Maybe you have some hypnotherapy training and want to upgrade and consolidate by gaining the Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma (HPD) which meets the National Occupational Standards for Hypnotherapy.

One thing that makes the UK Academy different from most other hypnotherapy training schools is our eclectic mix of tried and tested therapeutic theories.  We embed Humanistic Principles and the theories of Carl Rogers that lead to the development of client centred counselling, as well as psychotherapy and neuro linguistic programming.  We believe that this way of working brings much better results and that is what it’s all about!  You can be more flexible and creative, adapting your approach as circumstances require.  It is, after all, both an art and a science!
